"The Lost Boys" star Corey Haim, 38, died today of the apparent overdose of prescription medicines. The Canadian actor apparently flattened inside a bathroom and it was discovered unresponsive by his mother Judy, who telephoned 911 at 12:53 a.m. from his Los Angeles apartment. He was pronounced dead at 2:15 a.m. in a Burbank hospital.
Cops were informed from the dying by medical personnel at Providence St. Joseph's Clinic at 4 a.m. today. LAPD has opened up a dying analysis which will have an autopsy and toxicology testing based on Coroner's Lt. Cheryl MacWillie. Police apparently retrieved four prescription bottles near where Haim flattened.
Haim made an appearance in 12 movies between 1984-1991 and it was most widely known for his role in "The Lost Boys". Others incorporated "First Born", "Secret Admirer", "Silver Bullet", "Murphy's Romance", and "Lucas".
He was carefully recognized for several years with actor Corey Feldman. The 2 attempted to create a comeback in 2007 using their own reality show known as "The 2 Corey's", which broadcast for 2 season's on the&E network.
The previous teen heartthrob seemed to be involved with several films scheduled in 2010 release: "The LadyInch, "The GetInch and "SAD".
