Barrymore directed the show and seems to possess created a girl crush on Ellen. She'd this to say of her gifted co-star, "She was at her frickin' bra by having an open jacket and hot-pink shorts, skating round the rink with red-colored lips and..she was sexy like a mother…a feral creature.
