Actor Eric Dane introduced yesterday he leaves ABC's hit show 'Grey's Anatomy' at the start of the approaching ninth season.
Inside a statement to TVLine Dane stated, "I'm very grateful to everybody at Grey's, ABC and Shondaland for that experience and reminiscences I've had during the period of this run. It's been wonderful to operate alongside and discover from the creative pressure for example Shonda Rhimes."
Eric described Mark Sloan, also known as Dr. McSteamy, around the popular medical drama.
Rhimes stated, "After much consideration and conversations, we have made the decision that this is actually the proper time for his story to finish. We are a large family at Grey's having a lengthy history together and Eric will invariably remain a fundamental part of us.Inch
Season eight led to an airplane crash that stated the existence of Lexi (Chyler Leigh) and left Dane's character seriously hurt. Kim Raver's character Teddy also departed the show within the finale.
