John Carroll Dye 1963 - 2011
Actor John Dye, most widely known for his role on Touched by an Angel, has died at age 47. He was discovered unresponsive in the Bay Area home on Monday. Though the official reason for dying has not been determined, his household is confirming he experienced cardiac arrest.
The most popular drama went from 1994 to 2003 and featured Roma Downey because the angel Monica, Della Reese as her supervisor Tess and Dye as Andrew - the angel of dying.
Within an interview now, his more youthful brother Jerre Dye stated: "He celebrated love and existence and switched the thought of the Angel of Dying into something which was compassionate and welcoming."
A public memorial service will occur on The month of january 22, 2011 in Amory, Mississippi - the city where Dye was created where his parents, Jim and Lynn Dye, still live.
Dye also made an appearance in ten movies and many made-for-television movies: Once Upon a Christmas and Two times Upon a Christmas.
