Mark Frasier Landon in 1991 US

Mark Fraser Landon, 60 years old boy of actor Michael Landon and Dodie Levy-Fraser, was discovered dead at his West Hollywood home at noon on Monday, May 11, 2009.

Mark may be the biological boy of Dodie Levy-Fraser, and it was adopted by Michael Landon once the boy was seven years of age.  The pair were married from 1956-1962.  The boy made an appearance in three movies, his most widely known was the 1991 television pilot US which was directed by his father (see video below).

The elder Landon performed Little Joe on Bonanza and Charles Ingalls on Little House Around The Prairie.  He died in 1991 of cancer.  The more youthful Landon's other film projects incorporated Double Edge in 1988 and Goodbye America in 1997.

Particulars remain sketchy around the dying of Mark Landon, but based on La County Sheriff's Deputy Lillian Peck, no foul play is suspected.
