The familiar voices of Sarah Clark and Vinnie Hasson, who appear daily as Sarah & Vinnie on San Francisco's Radio Alice 97.3, were noticeably absent in the radio booth on Monday, The month of january 25, 2010. The most popular hosts are usually on mondays to fridays from 5:30 AM to 10 AM on KLLC. Radio stations site is easily the most visited modern adult contemporary radio station website in the usa.
Gossips are swirling that homophobic slurs made a week ago throughout the Sarah & Vinnie program triggered a sizable amount of complaints in the future directly into KLLC FM. Vinnie was suspended, and the on air partner Sarah is apparently on holiday. Regardless, rumor has it they'll be giving an apology for their audience soon. Not sure how lengthy they'll be MIA.
The happy couple have labored together two times. Their first stint survived 5 years before Vinnie was fired for performance the process of alcohol dependency. He was reinstated in August 2008. Based on his bio, he was "fortunate having a second chance to utilize Sarah on Alice" after "getting healthy".
