Actress and reality show star Tawny Kitaen was taken into custody of the children at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday mid-day after Newport Beach, California police stopped the number Rover that they was driving. She was moved to jail on suspicion of driving while impaired of alcohol, based on Sgt. Shontel Sherwood.
Kitaen is better noted for her looks in a number of heavy metal and rock videos for that band Whitesnake. She also made an appearance within the 1984 Tom Hanks movie Bachelor Party. Her latest television gig, which started in October 2008, was on season a couple of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Came. Just before that, she joined a six-month court purchased rehab program in return for dismissal of the 2006 criminal offence cocaine possession charge.
Tawny's troubles go farther back. In April 2002 she was charged with spousal abuse and battery against her St. Louis Cardinals husband, pitcher Chuck Finley. He declared divorce 72 hours later, ending their 5 year marriage. The pair have two kids, Wynter and Raine.
