Floyd Mayweather Junior., 33, was arrested, then later launched, following a domestic incident in the Vegas home of ex-girlfriend Josie Harris.
Police received a phone call at 5:03 a.m. on Thursday from Harris, mother of Mayweather's three children, age range seven to ten. The 30-year-old model stated she was assaulted and beaten through the boxer, which he threatened to kill her. She was treated at Southern Hillsides Hospital Thursday for minor injuries and launched.
Inside a constraint order, also filed Thursday, Harris claims Mayweather showed up at her home sometime between 2 and 3am and started looking through her possessions, yelling he understood she was dating another person which he'd have "me and my guy friend taken proper care of." She known as police, who escorted Mayweather from the home.
Based on Harris, Mayweather came back towards the home roughly two hrs later, re-entering through her son's bed room door. She was resting on the couch and based on a document acquired by TMZ, Harris states:
[sic] "he awoke me by tugging me by my hair and tossing me on the floor and started punching me within my mind dragging me on the ground and twisting my arm in attempt to break it. My children heard me screaming yelling for help when i screamed to inform these to call 911 or run away from home towards the security gate to obtain help. He screamed fiercly in the children because he ongoing to conquer me before them when they went or attempted to law enforcement he'd beat them exactly the same way. I stored yelling & crying to pleass run run go out and obtain help. The children took in in my experience went towards the security gate & he went chasing after following the children which offered me a window of excape and so i went the oppisite direction the grage towards the gate too. He screamed and screamed he would kill me and my boyfriend and make certain we're taken proper care of."
Police showed up in the home soon after the phone call was placed, but were not able to locate Mayweather. He surrendered to government bodies Friday morning and it was arrested and reserved on grand larceny charges for allegedly taking personal products in the Harris' home. He was launched a couple of hrs afterwards $3000 bail.
The Vegas Police Department has additionally suggested towards the Clark County District Attorney's Office the boxer be billed with "battery domestic violence."
The LVMPD states the D.A. will "assess the evidence within this situation to look for the suitability of (the domestic violence) charge."
Harris and Mayweather dated on / off for fifteen years, and resided together for seven. They separated in May, 2010. The house in which the confrontation happened shows up in Mayweather's title.
