Former model Irina Krupnik is suing NBC Universal over using a sexy bikini picture of her utilized in this year's Vince Vaughn movie "Couples Retreat."
The $ten million defamation suit suggests that using Krupnik's photo like a prop within the film has broken her status.
Within the movie, Krupnik's picture, that was drawn in 2001, can be used inside a scene where actor Jon Favreau's character waits for his wife to depart their accommodation after which enjoys…ummm…a private moment using the photo.
31-year-old Krupnik, who now functions as a makeup artist, appreciates that they gave the privileges towards the photo to some stock agency, which most probably offered it towards the filmmakers.
The suit, that was filed in Manhattan Top Court on Thursday, claims Universal Pictures Co. never acquired permission to make use of the look within the film.
Based on Krupnik's attorney, Thomas Mullaney, "Common decency means you need to request somebody before you decide to place them right into a scene that's basically pornography."
