Edit No comments

Dale earnhardt jr . team owner Jack Roush was involved with an airplane crash Tuesday evening at Wittman Regional Airport terminal in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  He was moved to Theda Clark Clinic in critical condition, but has since undergone an update to serious, but stable condition based on his attending physician Dr. Kevin Wasco.

Rouch and the 61-year-old passenger Brenda Strickland, each of Michigan, were inside a twin engine Hawker Beechcraft Premier business jet that skidded from the north south runway throughout their landing at 6:15 p.m.  The plane is registered to Roush Fenway Racing, LLC.

Based on witnesses, the plane was clearly in distress, and made an appearance to stall in mid-air, then came lower using the wings at odd angles.  Roush experienced facial lacerations that could require surgery, based on Geoff Cruz, Roush Fenway Racing leader - see bloody photo below.

Roush, 68, who formerly made it a 2002 plane crash when his plane wound up within an Alabama lake,  had flown set for the annual EAA AirVenture Convention, when they have a performance display within the Ford Hanger.  He took part in an exhibition on Tuesday morning and it was scheduled to sign autographs in a few days.

Roush Fenway Sprint Cup motorists include David Ragan, Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards.

The NTSB and FAA are looking into the crash.  Authorities indicate it may be days prior to the cause is famous.
