Lana Clarkson Killer Phil Spector Sentenced to 19 Years (Photos, Video)

Lana Clarkson murdered by Phil Spector


The 2003 shooting dying of actress Lana Clarkson in Phil Spector's Alhambra, California home brought to his being billed with murder within the second degree.  His first trial led to a mistrial his second trial led to a conviction of second degree murder on April 13, 2009.  He was remanded into custody of the children in those days, while waiting for sentencing - particulars of crime and photos available here.


Spector was sentenced on May 29, 2009 to 19 years for killing Clarkson - see his 'bald' prison mugshot here.  He'll be qualified for parole as he is 88 years of age.  Available to witness the formal sentencing was Lana Clarkson's mother Donna Clarkson.  She recognized a $17,000 check from Spector's lawyer to cover her daughter's funeral expenses - as mandated by Judge Ray Paul Fidler.   And in the court docket was ambitious singer and actress Rachelle Short, that has been married to Spector since September 2006.


The 69 years old record producer and songwriter created and co-authored the 1965 song You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' for that Righteous Siblings.  It's listed by Body mass index because the song most abundant in U.S. air plays within the twentieth century.
