Ron Leavitt, TV author and producer, died of cancer of the lung at his home in La on Sunday, Feb 10, 2008. His passing was reported by his girlfriend, model and actress Jessica Hahn.
Leavitt, co-creator, with Michael Moye, of Married…with Children created 150 episodes over 11 seasons to really make it the 2nd longest running sitcom around the FOX network. He started his career writing instances of Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley and also the Bad New Bears. Also, he authored and created instances of The Jeffersons, co-authored the pilot for Silver Spoons and co-produced the Jason Bateman sitcom It Is Your Move.
Erectile dysfunction O'Neill, who performed Al Bundy on the program, told The LA Occasions on Monday that Leavitt was "among the funniest men I ever understood. He's a really original thought process when it comes to comedy. He would be a brilliant comedy author."
He was identified by the Condition of California as "Citizen Hero of the seasonInch in 2001. He's made it by two children, Matt and Samantha and the very long time partner Jessica Hahn.Jessica Hahn spoke to Howard Stern on his radio show and reported that Leavitt, a smoker, was identified with cancer of the lung per week before his dying.
