David Copperfield Fan Illusion

David Copperfield will a 90 minute show in the MGM Grand in Vegas two times daily known as A Romantic Evening of Grand Illusion.   Throughout Wednesday night's show, something went very wrong as well as an 'illusion technician' was seriously hurt.

The stunt involves a huge 12 feet high industrial fan that assistants rotate while Copperfield walks with the whirring rotor blades. Throughout this specific performance, an illusion specialist named Brandon was drawn in to the vortex from the moving rotor blades.    He apparently experienced injuries to his arm and face.

Audience people were shocked as bloodstream was flying and also the curtain was closed to bar their view.  Many think it is area of the act when Copperfield initially arrived on the scene on stage and told everyone else they may need to finish the show.  He went backstage again and came back several minutes later showing the show ended and instructed the crowd to request a complete refund.

Clark County Fire Department was sent at 11:25 p.m.  Representative Scott Allison stated they received a 911 call showing that someone's arm was stuck inside a fan prop.  When EMS showed up in this area, the man's arm have been freed but he was bleeding abundantly.

Brandon was moved to College Clinic where he went through several hrs of surgery on his seriously broken arm.  Doctors placed hooks and bolts to correct multiple breaks.  Also, he needed stitches to his face for any large puncture wound.

Copperfield made the next statement after, " Lots of people think that the dying-repel illusions I actually do on stage aren't harmful.  This unfortunate accident implies that assumption could not be more wrong.  We are just grateful that Brandon's injuries were not worse."

We have had a video of Copperfield carrying out the fan illusion below.  Take a look.

Getting seen Copperfield's current act,  we found it an enormous waste of cash and perhaps the worst Las vegas act ever hitting the strip.  There have been more shills than legitimate having to pay clients.
