Jerome Rodale, a Jewish playwright, editor, author and writer, would be a guest around the Dick Cavett Display on June 5, 1971, as he dropped dead of cardiac arrest as the show was tape.
Wile Cavett was talking about politics with journalist Pete Hamill, Rodale's mind dropped to his chest and that he discrete what seemed just like a snore. "Shall we be boring you, Mr. Rodale?" requested Cavett. There is no response - Rodele was dead.
Ironically, Rodale, 72, was on the program to advertise organic faming and the kitchen connoisseur, coupled with just stated, "Irrrve never felt better within my existence," and "I have made the decision to reside to become a hundred."
The show never was broadcast, and the video clip never was launched. The actual tape of Rodale's on-air dying, filled with medics hurrying to the level, remains secured in Cavett's home.
